The Bunker, which can be constructed by any species, is a tactically defensive nest. Not only does this structure automatically micro-manage it's occupants for defense, it's occupants are healed between battles. You can put up to 20 ants in a Bunker. When enemies approach a bunker, soldiers within are dispatched to attack the enemy, they also recieve a special 'home-ground' defensive advantage. Bunkers will always attempt to dispatch soldiers first, before workers, they will never dispatch a queen automatically.

Workers, when inside a bunker, will automatically repair it (with no cost to your food!), adding 1 or 2 workers to your bunkers can be useful because of this.

Tip: Queens heal at an excessively fast rate inside bunkers.
