This is your standard working caste ant. Like all working castes, this ant is used to gather leaves, build nests, and tend to the queen(assist in egg laying). Like all gliding ants (except the Queen), the worker can glide from the tree canopy down to the surface. This allows you to take shortcuts, or even jump down directly ontop of enemies. There is a 15% chance of injury when gliding, and a 15% chance of death on impact. This ability can be used as a very tactical advantage. Another unique characteristic of the gliding ant, is its thorny exterior, which deals damage to enemies who bite down on them. The Gliding Ant worker has the unique behaviour of voluntarily(automatically) jumping out of the tree canopy when faced with an enemy it thinks would kill it in a tussle (such as a soldier with full health).
