This is your standard working caste termite. Like all working castes, this ant is used to gather leaves, build nests, and tend to the queen(assist in egg laying). One unique drawback of the Termite worker, is its wasteful gathering, since it only chews up the solid wood sections of the leaves, it destroys more of the leaf than it carries back. Although this destructive gathering does not affect how much food this worker collects, it can easily create a premature food shortage late-game. To combat this shortcoming, Termites should always aim to expand their nest size, bigger and bigger over time, taking control of more leaf rich areas and tree trunks.
